Janelle’s Story
Janelle grew up in York, PA, and after high school attended Hampton University, where she studied Marine and Environmental Science. After four years, she moved to Oregon to pursue her M.S. in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Sciences at Oregon State University and is now continuing her studies as a Ph.D. student. This is also where she began her career as a scientist and science communicator.
Terrell’s Story
Terrell was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, and traveled throughout the country, excelling at basketball at both the high school and collegiate levels. He earned his B.S. in Sociology from Cal State Northridge and later attended National University to obtain his M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis. He eventually moved to Portland to pursue work as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Our Relationship
We met early in 2021, at a restaurant in Portland, OR. We hit it off immediately, bonding over our love of travel, music, and being new to Oregon. We spent over 3 amazing years together. We were engaged in December 2024, and now we're getting married!
